MEP engineering specifically encompasses the in-depth design and selection of these systems. This included critical design elements like storm water drainage, subsoil drainage, air circulation, water pressure, electrical reticulation, system specifications and much more.
Geotechnical engineering is the branch of engineering concerned with the analysis, design and construction of foundations, slopes, retaining structures, embankments, tunnels, levees, wharves, landfills and other systems that are made of or are supported by soil or rock. Geotechnology plays a key role in all civil engineering projects built on or in the ground, and it is vital for the assessment of natural hazards such as earthquakes, liquefaction, sinkholes, rock falls and landslides.
